I tried installing the tetex-base, tetex-bin, and tetex-extra cygwin packages, reconfigured LyX and everything seems to work as usual. I did not even had to touch the "Use Cygwin-style paths" check button. I tested almost everything, so I would say that it works for me. -- Enrico
