Hello,
i have tried to install the LyX version LyX 1.2.2 on my PC. My operative
system ist SuSE 8.0. As warned in the README file, i suffered the
problem you mentioned there: the confugure script has deleted the
/dev/null device. After running ./configure, i got the following message:
**** The following problems have been detected by configure.
**** Please check the messages below before running 'make'.
**** (see the section 'Problems' in the INSTALL file)
** Cannot find libforms or libxforms. Please check that the xforms library
is correctly installed on your system.
** Cannot find forms.h. Please check that the forms library
is correctly installed on your system.
deleting cache /dev/null
Any kind of information would be very appreciatted.
