Strange, I just tested the link I provided, Paul Rubin's link,
and the link on the Wiki and they all started a file download.
Rubin's link works fine, but the link at the Wiki page
ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/contrib/BaKoMa4LyX.zip
does not.

I mentioned the Bakoma link bakoma4lyx-1.0 under "The Installer"
where I obtained the url at that time by right-clicking on the link and
selecting properties, and I copied and pasted the url/path.
I notice that further down the page under
"Things the Installer doesn't do"
"Math fonts"
bakoma4lyx are high quality fonts
which is another link to the Bakoma download
and this one was probably broken, explaining
why we got different results on the same page.
