I don't know where you got 3.3.5, but my SuSE 9.3 system > is also updated regularly, and I have qt 3.3.4. I suspect that you > are using a non-offcial source for YOU. I use two mirros as installation sources (in order to regularly update all installed packages if newer exist) both listed on the SuSE/Novell mirror site: ftp://suse.inode.at/ ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/Linux/MIRROR.suse/ Interesting enough, if I take a look on the packages avaiable for installation, all other qt3 packages but qt-non-mt are available (and installed) as 3.3.5. Qt-non-mt is available as 3.3.4-23 only. Thus, when I try to install lyx 1.3.7, YaST tries - in order to fulfill the requirements - to install qt3-non-mt package, which in turn requires the not installed qt3.3.4 causing the dependency conflict. The obvious question is: where do I find the qt3-non-mt ver. 3.3.5? Or should I downgrade to 3.3.4... Greetings, Kimmo
