it is possible to offset change bars in a very ugly way. 1) take a piece of text 2) enable change bars 3) delete one word 4) insert a whitespace after the word before the deleted word
now, the double whitespace is collapsed by lyx when moving the curser, but at the same time the change bar for the delete word is moved one character - which it should not! martin
