ok - here goes (minded for the wiki):
Questions, answers, and debate in a friendly atmosphere takes place on IRC at the #lyx channel on the Freenode network. In order to get there, you need a IRC client such as the excellent text based client irssi (or mIRC for windows). http://freenode.net/ http://irssi.org/ http://www.mirc.com/ Next you need to connect to your local Freenode server - choose one from the list: http://freenode.net/irc_servers.shtml Finally it is just a matter of connecting. $ irssi irc.debian.org <http://irc.debian.org> and when connection is established: /join #lyx The channel may appear very quite, but try to look in between 20.00-22.00CET. And in a quite period it is a good idea to check out the channel guidelines: http://freenode.net/channel_guidelines.shtml martin On 10/11/05, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On Thu, 10 Nov 2005, Martin A.
