Is there a way to control the borders of a cell as opposed to a row or

several columns.
TIA,

Highlight the header cells, right click and in the Table Settings tab of the pop-up dialog put a check next to "Multicolumn". You can adjust the borders as well. Borders of multicolumn cells are handled separately from the row/column borders. Note that you can declare a single cell to be "multicolumn" if you want it to have unique borders.
