I ignored all those details (discussed at the site above). It seems that it is wiser the way the mailing list is currently organized. Since I have a GMail account exclusively dedicated to mailing lists and considering that I do not want to keep the archives of my mailing lists on my computer, I use webmail, which does not have, unfortunately, the feature "reply to the list".
