Hello all,
I use LyX 1.3.5 in suse 9.0. When I have a document with several figures,
usually as ".eps" or ".jpg" images inserted in float figures, and I want to
preview it as DVI, it takes a lot of time to render (depending on the
number of figures) and sometimes it is really slow to appear the first page
of the document. But when I look at the different pages and there is a
figure in it, it takes also a lot of time to render it. In this way it is
really annoying to look at the document every time a change is made.
Is there a direct or indirect solution for this problem ?
Sometimes I use the rendering to a PDF file, but I don't like it because it
takes a lot of time to start the acroread program. The same to the other
preview options.
