This is the right list, but we'll need more details to help.
Does pdflatex work outside of LyX? -- Try exporting a LyX document to
LaTeX, and then run pdflatex on that from the command line.
If that works, what does LyX tell you about what's going on? -- Two
places to look here: first, the LaTeX Logfile (View > LaTeX Logfile);
second, any output from LyX in Console.app. Let us know what shows up
in these places.
