I think I may have worked out what the problem was. When I upgraded to the latest cvs version of LyX, the default document language was reset to English (as opposed to British). Because of various other problems with MathEd, I was typing stuff out in new documents and copy-pasting. This meant that the stuff did not change from English to British, and so was displayed as having a different default language. Actually, experimenting a bit, I'm not sure which way 'round English and British go, but I'm fairly sure that's the issue... Should I still enter this as a bug, or is that no longer the case?
