I use a personal letter template based on koma-letter2.lyx. It prints to-day's date in the document allright. The problem comes when I display or print an old letter: the date that shows up is to-day's, when I wish I had saved the date I wrote it. Any way to achieve that ? - get to-day's date at writing time - save this date in the document and keep it there so it appears unmodified whenever I reprint the document
