Oh, yes. .eps -> .ppm converter was mistakenly specified in Preference. Removing it corrected the problem.
Now, I understand the purpose of the Converter tab in Preference :) (Was there a documentation for this? Sorry, I'm only a user :) Anyway, thank you very much.
