BTW, how would you represent

htlatex yourdocument.tex "xhtml,ooffice" "ooffice/! -cmozhtf" "-coo"
                         ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

in a LyX preference file?

Untested:
\converter "latex" "sxw" "\"xhtml,ooffice\" \"ooffice/! -cmozhtf\" \"-coo\" $$i" "latex"

If it does not work, please file a bug on bugzilla.lyx.org.

\converter "latex" "sxw" "\"xhtml,ooffice\" \"ooffice/! -cmozhtf\" - coo $$i" "latex"

should also work.

Well - in fact I never tried that because it was comfortable enough for me to export from LyX to latex followed by a minor terminal session.

But as age tends to make me lazy I will try that … thanks, G.
