Hi all, I writing with Koma script book style. In several books I can see that quotations appears: Smith said: "blah blah blah". in others appears: Smith said: "blah blah blah." Which is the correct? Thanks. Marcelo Acuña

Neither it should be Smith said, http://webster.commnet.edu/grammar/marks/quotation.htm Following a form of to say, however, you'll almost always need a comma: * My father always said, "Be careful what you wish for." Since Koma script has a European/BR. locale associated with it, you would usually not use the US custom of putting the period/comma inside the quotation marks (which is not just like a question mark?). Read the article, it is just so fascinating.
