Hi all, having troubles installing beamer with lyx and windows. I've installed beamer classes, pgf, and xcolor using MikTeX package manager. I've tried updating the file database using MikTeX options>Refresh and also have tried running mktexlsr in each of the three directories for beamer, pgf, and xcolor. Beamer documentation says place pointer in home directory to the beamer.layour file. Not certain of what "home" means in windows so placed a copy of beamer.layout in with other .layout files in lyx folder. Then in lyx edit>reconfigure, then close down and restart lyx. Then I open the example, and export using pdflatex. Then the file is processed for sometime and then terminates with an error message: "you have one error - you should try to fix it" I've also tried the thesis example on the wiki with the same one error result.
