I seem to have another problem: When I go to the layout --> document menu and start moving from one menu option to another, there seems to be an issue. Each of these menus on the left has a frame of their own on the right and each frame has a heading. For example the menu "layout" has a heading "Document Style". Now when I shift to the next menu, let us say "Paper", the earlier heading " Document Style " doesn't go off and the new heading "Papersize and Orientation" comes on top of it. So the resulting heading which occurs is an unreadable one. Now when I shift to another window on WINDOWS OS and come back, this seems to go away and everything is hunky dory. I am not sure if this is a problem with windows or with LyX though.
