Hey all,

I'm currently writing a study guide for a class, and thus need to skip over some chapters in the book that are not being covered in the class. I've found the \setcounter{section}{...} command, and this works great for the generated documents (post LaTeX). Unfortunately, Lyx (1.3.5) does not appear to know how to parse the ERTs, which is not entirely surprising, but it does get confusing when I'm looking at section numbers in the Lyx editor that do not match up with the sections in the book.

Is there any way to let the WYSIWYM editor know to deal with this scenario appropriately? If not, is this in the plans for a future version of Lyx?

Thanks for your time,

Wil
