Hi I am about to install Lyx 1.3.6 on WinXP box. I just wondered what, with the exception of reLyx, the Perl package was required for. I am going to use tex2lyx and so won't need to install Perl if it is not used by any other part of the Lyx package.
If anyone knows the answer I would be most appreciative. Geoff
