Thanks Marc and Samar. I forgot to say, though, that I am trying to implement Lyx on Windows using Cygwin and Xfree. I'm not sure whether this affects how Lyx recognizes non-native files. Also, I have only the .cls file, not the complete tar file with all supporting documents. Does this mean I just need to write the Latex code directly into the Lyx preamble? I'm not familiar with how Lyx actually recognizes class files, and it does not appear that placing the .cls file into the latex library is enough.
Any other suggestions that you might have would be great. Thanks again.
