I tried "urpmi fonts-ttf-latex", and the reply was "Everything already installed". I also already installed the latex-xft-fonts package following the instructions on the wiki.lyx.org site. However, I am still not able to get the math symbols to display properly. Do you have any other ideas? Thanks for the prompt responses. Bye, Andy
