Hello,
I found out the problem, which comes not from LYX, but from LATEX :
the package caption doesn't work with the frenchb language package.
But it works with the french[GUTENBERG] language.

Sorry for disturbing lyx-users with that !

this is only a check for packages, which LyX _directly_ supports
