I am trying to convert a latex file to lyx. My lyx (Version 1.3.3, Mandrake) has under file>import> only ASCIItext, ASCII as lines ASCII as paragraph and NoWeb (??), but not LaTex to Lyx. I therefore selected edit>Preferences>Converters and added as new Latex to Lyx. What do I need to put into the converter-box (and Extra flag-box?)? I tried relyx and relyx $$i, marked it as new, saved it and did a reconfigure. However, the settings are gone after I restart lyx. Could somebody give me a hint where to check and how to do it properly? Did I miss something? I noticed that relyx from the command line is not found. I thought its part of the lyx package. I also do not get the different view possibilities any more, except html. Why is this crewed up and how can I bring it back to normal?
