Another 'quick and dirty' way to make it is to just copy the graphic into the Windows clipboard, open the 'paintbrush' application (which I think is in every Windows computer) and paste it there. Then save the graphic in .jpg format and IF everything concerning the LyX installation in Windows is right then ImageMagick will do its trick and you can see your graphic when you tell LyX to include the .jpg file. The main disadvantage of this is that the .jpg file will probably take more space than a 'properly' converted .ps or .eps file. I tried this just the week before with my students in a very poor Windows LyX installation and it worked. Good luck. -- Dr. Luis A.
