1.3.5 OSX installer not working

When I try to install LyX 1.3.5 for OSX, the package does not let me
install to my applications folder. Most packages, faced with
permissions problems, give the user the opportunity to authenticate,
but the LyX package does not. A fixed package would be most
appreciated. Thanks!
