In 1.3.4 LyX/Mac mathmode, command-b produces bold. Is there a key binding that gets me back to math normal from the bold? I'm having to use the menus: Insert>Math>Font change>Math normal font, which is a pain, since in the paper I'm writing I have to go from bold math to roman math many times.

When you type command-b, you get a 'subbox' in mathmode. Everything inside it will be bold. To get out just use the right arrow. The extra set of pink L's at the bottom shows you if you are in the bold box or outside of it.
