Even I can use LyX smoothly, I get some error information which I did not like.

I use Fedora Core 1.
I install LyX using
lyx-1.3.4-2fc1_qt.i386.rpm
latex-xft-fonts-0.1-1.noarch.rpm

1. When I start lyx and open one file with math formula, it shows:
--------------------------
This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.4.5)
(./0lyxpreview.tex
LaTeX2e <2001/06/01>
Babel <v3.7h> and hyphenation patterns for american, french, german, ngerman,
nohyphenation, loaded.

Failed: latex 0lyxpreview.tex
Leaving 0lyxpreview.tex in /tmp/lyx_tmpdir1270Zvzjzg/lyx_tmpbuf0
---------------------------
2. When I save one file, it say:
---------------------------
utime error.
---------------------------
3. When I exit LyX, it say:
---------------------------
Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy
---------------------------

I try to solve problem 1. with installing preview.sty. I download files
http://www.tug.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/preview/preview.dtx
http://www.tug.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/preview/preview.ins
and using shell command
tex preview.ins
cp preview.sty /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lyx/.
mktexlsr
But now the error information is:
---------------------------
(./0lyxpreview.tex
LaTeX2e <2001/06/01>
Babel <v3.7h> and hyphenation patterns for american, french, german, ngerman,
nohyphenation, loaded.

Failed: grep -E 'Preview: [ST]' 0lyxpreview.log
We require preview.sty version 0.73 or newer. You're using
Package: preview 2004/04/11 preview-latex 0.8.1
Leaving 0lyxpreview.tex in /tmp/lyx_tmpdir1117A71H7T/lyx_tmpbuf0
--------------------------

Did someone have some suggetion about this?

Thanks,
sinnud
