4th attempt at reply (the news server doesn't like me?)

Hi,

As it turns out (thanks to Jean-Marc Lasgouttes), it is normal LaTeX
behavior to justify the figure captions anyway (unless it is one line and
then it is centered).

So, the problem has nothing to do with the caption or caption2 packages.

Whenever the document contains any Hebrew, the figure captions get messed up
(every line centered).
Now, the only difference is the "hebrew" option passed to the article
class.

If it didn't work for you in the example, there was probably a Hebrew space
left in the document.

But if you say the caption2 package works and with hebrew, I will use it.
