Zooming works, but personally I would prefer bigger boxes for entering equations. What 
about a separate zoom for the equantion editor? 

Another suggestion: putting the mathematical symbols on a toolbar instead of a 
separate dialogue would make it easier to enter equations, as one would not have to 
click in the main window in order to give it back focus.
