You have to edit the bst file (or create a new one with "latex makebst",
which is very straightforward).
If you are using plainnat.bst, save a copy "myplainnat.bst" and edit the
lines 216 and 302, changing
{ "," * }
to
{ "" * }
Don't forget to run texhash afterwards.
