Yes and this one is working correclty: ispell mytextfile.txt and all new added words are saved in .ispell_default in TeX-Notation (as you\'ve said). So adding does work under ispell in konsole - but doesn\'t when evoking via LyX (and I have enabled the \'use input encoding\' option) Maybe there is an option in the konsole before evoking lyx? Maybe to set the encoding of the konsole-session and thus all apps from this process-tree will use the same encoding? Just an idea - and i have no idea how to achieve this... hmmm? Thanks, Peter
