Hello,
I'm a brand new Lyx user, or rather I've just begun playing around with Lyx to see if it's what I need. There are many Lyx files that I can see in the open file window of Lyx—the introduction, tutorial, templates, example files, etc— but my Mac does not seem to see them. I assume they are in a protected volume of my harddrive. How do I copy these files into a folder on my harddrive, so that I can use the Mac finder to find and launch these files in Lyx? Lyx has suddenly quit on me when I try to drag a Lyx file to a folder on my harddrive.
Second question: Some of the example files and/or template files open in Lyx but contain classes that are not recognized by my copy of Lyx and so they will not produce output. Is this easy to fix?
