Hi, I am writing an article using the Cygwin version of LyX 1.3.1 on Windows. I then export the article to PDF using pdflatex. After upgrading to the latest MikTex, the PDF file has bookmarks and colored cross-references. I am amazed how smooth this works.
This mail started out as a question on cross-references to figures, which in a PDF document would link to the caption, so the actual figure would be off-screen. I just fixed that myself by passing the "pdfview=Fit" option to hyperref, so that a click on a cross-reference now brings me to the page containing the label, which I find appropriate. I decided to complete the mail after all. So all that's left for me to do is to commend you on a job well done. I have occasionally used LyX since 1999, when it worked flawlessly on my 100-page thesis. LyX is such a time saver. Keep up the great work, Frank
