I want to present a graphic in Lanscape with a rotated caption.
So far I have added
\usepackage{rotating} to preamble
then I have tried:
\begin{sidewaysfigure} ERT
then a standard figure float here(where I have placed figure and caption)
I could be wrong but I don't think you should put in a standard float as this is already a floating environment. Insert a graphic as usual and use the standard caption environment - just ignore the *senseless* warning as it should all work.
Also note that (for me at least) the captions don't appear properly in the DVI output but they are OK in PS or PDF formats.
