Actually this is a document that used to be Revtex 4 and I just changed the
type from Revtex 4 to SPIEProceedings, expecting everything to work smooth.
You think that might be the problem?

I'm gonna try to just start a new document, make it SPIEproceedings from the
start, and copy paste my text from this one, and then make a new bibliography
and stuff, and see if I still get the error. Pain in the but though.

Alex.
