Dear Uwe and list, US> Has anybody tried the new version to configure LyX under Win98? I unpacked and run LyX on Win98 (first EN edition v4.10.1998). But it is not yet configured. I can open, edit, save files without any problem. But to view them, I know I need TeX, and LaTeX and mabye some other tools.
A general configuration info, containing what necessary tools needs to be installed would be nice for me. Maybe for the others too. Will I need cygwin? Or other tools? Maybe download links to that tools ... -- Best regards, theblond
