When I updated to KDE 3.2 on Linux Mandrake 9.1 I also cinstalled LyX. LyX mostly works, but a few symbols (Sigma, integral, etc.) are replaced by square boxes. Do I have to install any additional packages for those?
It seems that you need to install the latex-xft-fonts package. Please, have a look at:
