1. Use relative filenames, e.g. x/y.lyx and not /home/me/x/y.lyx. 2. I believe that the unix style forward slashes work also in lyx under windows and are converted automatically to backslashes when exporting. Having only relative paths is nice anyway, because you can then simply transport the complete document by copying the directory structure. Georg
