Hm, I think for most users it may be "too much work" to install the cygwin environment and an xserver.
Of greater moment, is that the free QT version for Win32 had _very_ good support for the Windows environment --- even Handwriting Recognition works on my Fujitsu pen slate, and I'd be loathe to give that up (am sticking at 1.3.3 for now).
I'd really like to see a successor to Ruurd's port for Win32. What would be involved in adding it to the project proper?
