Hi, I'm trying to compile lyx on Solaris but I have some problems.

When running this configure command:
./configure --with-qt-dir=/usr/local/gbar/_/qt/3.3.0b1/ --prefix
/usr/local/gbar/_/lyx/1.3.3 --with-frontend=qt

I get these errors:
checking [for cmex10]... ./configure: kpsewhich: command not found
./configure: kpsewhich: command not found
./configure: kpsewhich: command not found
no

(well, I guess kpsewhich isn't there, I get the error a bunch of times.)

But the configure seems to finish off nicely anyway. The program is made
(make) without problems, but when I try to install the scripts stops
after this command:

test -f xfonts/PSres.upr && /opt/sfw/bin/ginstall -c -m 644
xfonts/PSres.upr /usr/local/gbar/_/lyx/1.3.3/share/lyx/xfonts/PSres.upr

Note that ginstall is is GNU install, and the correct program to use...

Any ideas?
