As long as that isn't possible, I think lyx should stick to the basics, and luximono (undoubtly pretty) is quite new. I don't like courier myself, but it's available everywhere. That doesn't mean I don't like to have luximono supported, but not as default when the user chooses palatino. My 2c, Karsten
