Unfortunately, things are a bit more complicated. I have German as default language (for obvious reasons), so I benefit from English templates setting the language to English (be it en_US or en_GB). My suggestion is, you move the templates to ~/.lyx/templates, set the Template-Dir accordingly and, loading the templates as normal Documents, change their language setting to your needs. (You can of course also use the save-as function after opening a template with File>New-from-template.) Günter. -- G.Milde at web.de
