Dude, We have to use Novell's Groupwise mail client at work. It does not have the capability to reply in the style I (and you) prefer. My extreme apologies. I am not going to insert '>' characters by hand for every line I am replying to.
If you know of a way to make the Groupwise mail client (I am using version 6.5) reply in the proper fashion please let me know.
