That's not necessary. The second line in the .layout takes care of that: #% Do not delete the line below; configure depends on this # \DeclareLaTeXClass[scrartcl]{rel} The .layout is only necessary to adjust appearances of paragraph layouts within LyX. > I guess there should be another elegant way to do so.
