Hi fellow LyXers,

I've patched LyX 1.3.2 with John Levon's change tracking code. This is a
really nifty feature, so I wanted to get it working on the stable 1.3.2
release, which I used for writing my thesis. The patch is based on 1.3cvs
which doesn't have support for the QT. I didn't test the xforms version,
but I suspect the 1.3cvs patch natively supports xforms. LyX 1.4cvs has
changetracking support. I have no idea when stable 1.4.0 will be released,
so you might like to give this a try in the meantime.

All the info and the patch, along with some screenshots of the QT-version
in action, are at

This works for me, but I make no warranty for anyone else. Use at your own
risk. That being said, I've used it on my >200-page thesis, and it works
well. Please let me know if I've improperly bundled it, or you have
problems getting it to compile. You need lyx 1.3.2 and the appropriate QT
library. The only bug I've seen so far is that LyX crashes when I try to
cut-and-paste "changed text" which contains an inset.

If anyone wants to give this patch a more permanent home, let me know.

Cheers and -i-n-g-o-i-y- enjoy!

JB
