Well, I don't know, from where I stand it certainly seems like it uses the language in Preferences > Language Settings which is set for all documents. Cos I change the language of the document in Layout > Document > Language which is specific to this one document, and nothing happens as far as the spellchecker is concerned. I may be crazy though. Always a possibility. Alex.
