Thanks to the sharp testing and suggestions of many users, and the quick response of the LyX developers, several bugs in the Aqua implemention of LyX are fixed in the currrent versions of the source and binary distributions:
- the Preferences submenu now appears under LyX reliably; - LyX does not crash with the tutorial and navigation menu; - the ^ key works in math mode; - symbols like the integral sign now appear in an appropriate size; - the X11 libraries and includes are not required; - reLyx works correctly in the binary distribution; - the PATH in ~/.MacOSX/environment.plist is safer; - other smaller fixes.
