Yep...that is exactly what I meant. As Andre pointed out, the operation of couting words, from a latex point of view, is not easy, but I think this feature is something many people have to do when writting articles, theses or other documents.
If someone were to write a word count feature, something that would make it really nice would be the ability to count words in only one part of a document. Very useful for those "which section to I need to cut in order to fit in the maximum wordcount?" moments!
