> How large are your figures compared to the text height?

All my figures are fairly large. Like the smallest is about a third of a page,
and the largest takes up a full page.
I am using 12 point double spaced text.

So, I am aware that Lyx must be having a hell of a time formatting this thing.
But I did not think it would give up and just sweep them all under the carpet
like this.

Oh, by the way, now I can't even visualise anymore because of a bunch of Latex
errors. I guess lyx must be struggling with my huge pictures.

I get Latex errors of the type

Missing number, treated as zero.
 \begin
             {center}\includegraphics[%
A number should have been here; I inserted `0'.
(If you can't figure out why I needed to see a number,
look up `weird error' in the index to The TeXbook.)

or

LaTeX Error: Too many unprocessed floats.
 \begin
             {center}\includegraphics[%
You've lost some text. Try typing <return> to proceed.
If that doesn't work, type X <return> to quit.

or

Undefined control sequence.
 \end{figure}

The control sequence at the end of the top line
of your error message was never \def'ed. If you have
misspelled it (e.g., `\hobx'), type `I' and the correct
spelling (e.g., `I\hbox'). Otherwise just continue,
and I'll forget about whatever was undefined.

There's like 9 of them and they're all clustered around this one figure. I've
tried making it smaller and stuff, but it just does not seem to like it.

Alex.
