What about converting the ascii output to MS Word format via Word macros that convert plain-text tags into appropriate Word styles? I ask because I'm writing a how-to book (on poker) for a small pub house. I've started in MS Word but am thinking of changing to LyX to see what it's like. However my publisher will be giving the manuscript to an editor, and it's quite possible that editor will be using MS Word.
